There is no substitute for experienced people with specialized equipment. We are exacting in the quality of our work and always strive for perfection. By offering a full range of specialized services in-house, using plates from our stock, we take on full responsibility for our finished product while truncating production schedules and offering our clients one convenient point of contact.
The hard truth is that no amount of technical support can eliminate the difficulty of processing high-strength and high-hardness steel.
Stress releases during profile cutting can mean warped parts. Proper preheating, torch speed and consumables are critical. Highly alloyed chemistries can reduce tool life and result in low-tolerance parts. High tensile strengths can create cracking during forming. Sharp and unground edges can leave stress risers for crack propagation. Mismanaging the heat-affected zone leads to uneven wear life and crack sensitivity.
Poor execution in any one of these areas can result in microcracking that becomes apparent only after parts are in service. Trust HSPP to complete your order to our incredibly high standards. We understand the nuances of high-strength and high-hardness steel like no other.
We do the hard stuff.
