Made in Sault-Ste-Marie, Ontario, Canada by Algoma Steel, Algoma 100 is suitable for applications which require high strength with superior weldability, good formability, and improved notch toughness with good resistance to brittle fracture at low service temperatures. Typical applications include highway trailers, forestry and mining equipment and other uses where weight is a critical factor.  HSPP generally orders Algoma 100 additionally certified to A514 Grade S and CSA G40.21 100QT Category 4 with minimum reported impacts of 34J (25 ft. lbs.) at -45C (-50F).
