Made in Austria by voestalpine, thermo-mechanically rolled alform steels have a low-carbon, fine grained microstructure. These steels are suitable for cold-forming and welding because of their chemical composition (low carbon equivalent). This product is a discrete heavy plate product. We order alform 700M to a minimum yield strength of 690 MPa longitudinal and minimum reported CVNL of 27J at -40C longitudinal.
